Transient (Short-Term) Lot and Rental Info
Sized for a Class A Motorhome - Each lot is a full-sized RV space, fit for a 45-foot Class A with slides and room for a "toad" (towed) vehicle. Park your RV and toad on the gravel, and use the clean concrete pad to set up your table and chairs under your awning. The weather outside here is perfect for about 9 months of the year, so you can enjoy the climate and get out under the stars with ease.
We may have a ready-furnished trailer available for rent in the short term. If you have non-RV-er friends they may still enjoy our facilities. Contact us for details and availabilty. There are also many beautiful bungalows, palapas, casas and casitas available with easy access to our park. The prices range from "backpacker" to "Ritz-Carlton", so there is something to please everyone.
Convenient, Modern Hookups - Our hookups include separate circuit breakers for 15 amp and 30 amp electricity. Also, we have fresh artesian spring water from the frequent rainfall in the Sierra Laguna mountains to our east. Our sewage system was built with peak capacity in mind, and is clean and modern. Please hook up to the drain with a tight connection to keep the air fresh around here.
We may be able to provide satellite TV at an extra cost. Please inquire at the time of registration about availablility.
WiFi Internet is also available through several providers. The park has a shared satellite connection that we all contribute toward. There are very strong TelCel and Movistar cellular services here as well, if you have access to their various internet mechanisms. In addition, there are also local internet providers who can arrange a private connection for you. Finally, Todos Santos has several very good coffee shops featuring excellent connectivity, interesting conversation, and a stimulating shot of something to keep you sharp while you're online.
Safety and Security - There are two practicing general practitioner doctors in El Pescadero, with offices less than 1 km away. We have our favorite, and he can even make house calls if the situation warrants. Ambulance service is available here, and can provide efficient transportation to the local hospital in Todos Santos or to the much larger facilities in either La Paz or Cabo San Lucas, where it is easier to find English-speaking medical professionals and insurance or credit cards accepted.
We have an industrial-grade fire suppression system that is always ready for use. It features massive plumbing that is connected directly to the pool--a ready store of water, just in case. The area is served by the Bomberos (firefighters) of Todos Santos, who train and respond to emergencies if they are called.
Our relationship with the local population (we are locals, too!) is cordian and neighborly. Though it's always a good idea to keep a secure posture, we have an outstanding safety and crime record. There is always someone here keeping an eye out, and our "security dogs" are on duty 24-hours-a-day.
The police force here patrols the area regularly, and we maintain good relations with them. There is an Army checkpoint just north of Todos Santos and a Marine patrol as well that ensures the peace is kept. We have had no issues with "mordida", or bribes being asked. A freindly nod and a wave will usually be all the interaction they require.
